Disposing of Used Lamps
Lamps are hazardous products and need to be treated with great care. Some glass bulbs are pressurised to extreme levels containing hazardous chemicals such as Mercury, all housed in glass.
In the interests of safety and responsible disposal, we ask our customers to please ensure old units are disposed of in accordance with local rules and regulations. As mentioned above, lamps contain Mercury, which in some areas is restricted from simply being thrown in the garbage.
